I cannot afford to see my children in the arms of other actors – Ali Nuhu

Kano’s popular producer, director, and dancer, King Ali Nuhu, has shared details about his life, challenges, and relationships in a recent social media post.
Ali, who made his fortune through acting in Nollywood, graduated from the University of Jos and later earned a master’s degree.
In his post, he revealed that he used to plan on having four children, but has since decided against it.
He referred to his female friends in Kannywood as his children, including Maryam Yahaya, Hadiza Gabon, Ramadan Booth, Maryam Booth, Ummi Rahab, Shamsu Daniya, Baballe Hayatu, and many others who are not only part of his family, but also successful in their own right.

Ali also mentioned that he has no enemies in Kannywood and is good friends with Ahmed Musa, the international footballer. In fact, Ahmed is now training Ali to become a professional footballer outside Nigeria.
Ali’s life changed in the 80s when he was invited to Kaduna by producer Yakubu Lere to act in the film Wasila. Yakubu Lere is also married to Maimuna Ali Nuhu’s sister.
Ali and Maimuna fell in love and got married. They now have two children, Ahmad Ali Nuhu and Fatima Ali Nuhu, but Ali stopped them from acting because he cannot bear to see his children in the arms of other actors, as he believes Kannywood is a dirty industry.
Currently, Ali is into large poultry farming, investments, and owns FKD Production in Kano. Additionally, he has various commercial ventures that bring in a lot of money. However, he has now announced that he will not be marrying again or having more children.
