President Buhari approves suspension of Adamawa REC
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the suspension of the Residential Electoral Commissioner in Adamawa State, according to a report by The Punch.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Adamawa State, Hudu Yunusa Ari, for illegally announcing the results of the supplementary governorship election held on Saturday, April 15.

Ari abruptly declared APC’s Aisha Dahiru, popularly known as Binani winner of the election of the Saturday re-run election while collation was still going on.
