Napoli failed to live up to expectations after their 0-1 loss last Wednesday to Milan, although it was an opportunity to make a mark in Europe’s elite football competition but luck ran out of them.
Milan had the upper hand in the first half as the French striker, Olivier Giroud opened the scoreline in the 43rd to give his club a double lead.
Napoli’s goal after 180 minutes only came just before the referee’s final whistle for the night as Osimhen’s bid farewell for the season with a goal.
The game ended 1-1 but a 2-1 aggregate in favour of Milan.
Milan will be going to the semi finals for the first time in 24 years.
