Story from Ibraheem Hamza MUHAMMAD

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi, among other political candidates in the 2023 election are attending the Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja.

Our correspondent reports that Barrister Simon Bako Lalong, Governor of Plateau and DG of the defunct APC-PCC arrived at the court in the early hours of Monday, May 8.

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal began pre-hearing the petitions challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.

The presiding judge, Justice Haruna Simon Tsamani, has appealed to lawyers to present concrete evidence and avoid technicalities for speedy dispensation of justice.
