Buhari approves exclusion of Finance Ministry from TSA
Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the exclusion of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) from the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
The president gave the approval on Tuesday during the 1st Governing Council meeting of MOFI.

Also, an approval for the request of the Board of MOFI to charge management and transaction fees; and the inclusion of the Minister of Power in the Governing Council.
Recall that the journey of MOFI started in February 1, 2023 when it was launched with the aim of transforming the ministry from a registry of investment records to a World-Class Asset and Investment Management Company.
It is expected that MOFI with robust support would be able to achieve massive Returns on Investments (ROI), while also contributing to broader economic development of the country.
