Buhari requests approval from senate to clear N226 billion judgment debts
Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, is seeking the approval from the Senate to pay judgement debts amounting N226 billion.

The request was included in a letter addressed to the Senate.
Neptune Prime reports that the request was presented during Wednesday’s plenary session, with Senate President Ahmad Lawan reading the letter to the Senate.
The requested amount totals $566,754,584.31, £98,526,012.00, and N226 billion owed by the Federal Government.
Buhari proposes the issuance of promissory notes as a means of settling this debt.
