Former NBA President, Okey Wali, regains freedom after two weeks in captivity
Former President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Chief Okey Wali, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), who was abducted two weeks ago, has been released after spending time in captivity.
Recall that Wali was abducted in the early hours of Monday, 17 April 2023, after his convoy was attacked along East–West Road, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Confirming Wali’s release, Chairman of NBA, Port Harcourt Branch, Viktor Benibo, told journalists that the senior lawyer was now at home.
He added that Wali was released in the early hours of the day.
