PSG hand Messi 2 weeks suspension
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have issued a two-week suspension to their striker, Lionel Messi for an authorised trip to Saudi Arabia.
Neptune Prime reports that the suspension issued on Tuesday takes effect immediately.

Recall that the World Cup winner was heavily criticised following his trip to the Arab country shortly after his side lost to Lorient 1-3 in Sunday’s Ligue 1 fixture.
Although, the player’s agent is yet to receive an official notice but the club described his act a “serious mistake”.
Messi whose future at PSG is uncertain will miss the club’s next two games, in Troyes this Sunday, and against Ajaccio on Saturday, May 13.
Recall in April, Barcelona who have indicated their interest in bringing back Messi have been told by LaLiga that that would need to adopt extreme measures on finances to create a room for the Argentine.
Neptune Prime has learnt that the club are currently looking for investors that will be responsible for the player’s wages amid his return to Camp Nou.
