Victor Osimhen delivers Napoli first Serie A title after 33 years
Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, has helped SSC Napoli win their first Serie A title (Scudetto) after 33 years.
Napoli became champions of Italy Thursday night after the match against Udinese ended 1-1 which earned them 80 points on the log.

Hosts, Udinese were first to open the scoreline 13 minutes after kick off courtesy, Lovric’s goal to make it 1-0.
After regaining possession, Napoli were unable to find the back of the before half-time.

Both teams tried to make a headway for a winner but their efforts were not enough to create goal scoring chances until the referee signalled the end of the game for Napoli.
Thursday’s draw was a winning match for Napoli after waiting for 33 years to win their third Scudetto in history, after 1986/87 and 1989/90 campaigns.
“I always want to score in every game for the youths of Africa to get something to eat, I know they always put their money on me to score,” Osimhen after the game.
Victor Osimhen has equalled George Weah’s record for the Highest African Goalscorer in Serie A with 46 goals.
He has also broken Samuel Eto’o record for the Most Goals Scored by an African Player in a Single Serie A Season with 22 goals.
