Iconic golden jubilee monument built by Ganduje demolished by Kano Govt

The Kano State Government has recently demolished the golden jubilee monument that was constructed by the immediate past governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Situated at the Kano Government House roundabout, the monument was built in 2017 to commemorate the state’s 50th anniversary.
However, the new Kano government included the roundabout in its demolition plans as part of an effort to restore the state’s master plan.
Governor Abba Yusuf had previously issued orders to the task force to demolish all structures that were illegally built on government lands.
