Ighalo leaves Saudi club, Al Hilal after 18 months
Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, will not renew his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal after spending a remarkable 18 months with the club.
Ighalo whose contract with the club expired June arrived in January 2022 helped the club secured the Saudi League title that same season.

The 33-year-old known for his goal-scoring abilities was the league’s top scorer with 24 goals.
In the just concluded season, Ighalo found the back of the net 19 times but was not enough help the club defend their league title.
He won the Kings Cup in his last season with the Blue Waves.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal have thanked the player for his successful stay with them.
