Kano socialite Sadiya Haruna marries long-time lover G-Fresh Al-Amin

Sayyada Sadiya Haruna, a prominent figure in Kano society, has finally decided to settle down with Kano-based musician G-Fresh Al-Amin, also known as Kano State Material.
The couple has been in a long-term relationship, and their union was celebrated in a lavish wedding ceremony.
Sadiya’s journey to this point has been marked by various controversies and legal issues.
Last year, she found herself at odds with Teemah Makamashi, a fellow Kannywood industry personality, after a sex video involving Teemah and a serving senator was leaked on social media. Sadiya, believing Teemah to be the woman in the video, shared it widely, resulting in a legal battle between the two.
Teemah Makamashi, known for her rough and controversial demeanor, took Sadiya to the Sharia Court, accusing her of defamation.
Initially, Sadiya was sentenced to six months in prison, but her case was later appealed, and with the financial support of Dauda Kahuta Rarara, she was able to secure her release.
Over the years, Sadiya has been romantically linked with numerous Kannywood actors and producers. One such relationship was with Isah A. Isah, who, in a social media controversy, accused her of being involved in homosexuality.
Isah reported her to the Sharia Court, resulting in her imprisonment. However, the Kano Hisbah Command later amended her sentence to include moral training, which she underwent for six months. Sadiya claimed to have undergone a transformation and was subsequently released.
Following these tumultuous events, Sadiya’s parents, originally from Maiduguri, made the decision to relocate her to Borno State. However, after some time, she returned to Kano and resumed her business of selling sex related products.
Unfortunately, this venture frequently brought her into conflict with the law, resulting in arrests and subsequent releases due to her connections with influential individuals.
Yesterday, Sadiya and G-Fresh exchanged vows in a grand society wedding held in Kano. The ceremony was attended by their friends and well-wishers, who celebrated their union.
Despite her marital commitment, Sadiya intends to continue her business, as it remains her primary source of income.
