Member of the House of Representatives (MHR), Representative Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has congratulated Yemi Mobolade on his historic election as the first black Mayor of Colorado Springs City.
In a press release signed by Olamilekan Olusada, S.A Media & Publicity, on June 9, 2023, Akande-Sadipe extended her warmest congratulations to Mobolade for his remarkable achievement.
Representative Akande-Sadipe, who represents the Oluyole Federal Constituency in the 10th Assembly and formerly served as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Affairs in the 9th Assembly, hailed Mobolade’s win as a momentous milestone.
She stated, “Notably, Mayor Mobolade’s success is further accentuated by his affiliation as a non-Republican mayor, showcasing the evolving political dynamics in the United States.”
Akande-Sadipe praised Mobolade’s unwavering determination and his ability to inspire hope through his journey from Nigeria to the United States.
