Messi after playing for two seasons for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) decided to continue with his professional career outside Europe.

News broke that Messi will be heading to the MLS after signing a two and a half-year contract, with an additional option year for 2026.

It was gathered that the World Cup winner was bought with a whooping $150 million and he is expected to earn an approximate annual salary of €25 million (£21 million).

Neptune Prime learnt that Messi will walk home at the expiration of his contract and would not be attempting to have a stake in the club.

Messi will be allowed to have his iconic number 10 on his jersey as he makes debut in July.

Despite speculations on his return to Barcelona, the Spanish club failed to meet up with the requirements as they are still struggling to regain their financial status.

Reports indicate that Inter Miami is in the process of expanding its stadium capacity by adding approximately 2,500 to 3,000 seats.
