Tinubu approves appointment of Customs DCGs, ACGs
In light of the recent appointment of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, and the retirement of some management members, President Bola Ahmad Tinubu, has approved the appointment of new Deputy Comptroller Generals (DCGs) and Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACGs) to the Nigeria Customs Service.
The newly appointed officers include DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed, and ACG A Alajogun.

As the transition takes place, the Acting Comptroller General expressed his gratitude to the retired management members for their dedication and service to the Nigeria Customs Service.
He also extended his congratulations to the newly appointed officers.
The Acting Comptroller General urged the newly appointed officers to go above and beyond in fulfilling the mandates of the Service, including revenue generation and the suppression of smuggling activities.
He emphasised the importance of their efforts in taking the Service to greater heights.
With the collective dedication and hard work of the newly appointed officers, the Nigeria Customs Service aims to further strengthen its operations and achieve its objectives in serving the nation and protecting its interests.
