Ahmed Musa: Cristiano Ronaldo’s club Al Nassr banned from signing new players 

 

Saudi Arabia’s Pro league club, Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo is have been banned from signing new players.

Neptune Prime reports that the club were sanctioned after failing to obey ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) where they were mandated to pay Leicester City €460,000 in performance-related add-ons during the transfer of Nigeria international, Ahmed Musa from the English club to Saudi Arabia.

Recall that Al Nassr had bought the Nigerian for €16.50 million from Leicester in 2018 after his performance at the World Cup in Russia and it was discovered that the club were yet to pay the add-ons which was contractually stated.

Consequently, the club will not be able to sign new in the current transfer window due to the debt they owed Leicester after FIFA’s hammer.
