Clubbers beat Anambra lady to death, dump body in hotel swimming pool
A young lady identified as Miss Chinyere Awuda from Nnobi, in the Idemmili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, was found dead and dumped inside the abandoned swimming pool of Cosmila Hotel in Awka, Anambra State.
According to sources, the unfortunate incident unfolded at Club Mila, a nightclub reportedly owned by Cosmila Hotels, where a man named Mr. Gabriel Chinemere and his friends, who were also clubbers, allegedly started assaulting Miss Chinyere Awuda for reasons yet unknown.

Despite the attempts made by other individuals present at the club that night to intervene and rescue her, Mr. Gabriel and his companions continued to inflict harm on her, all while the club manager, a certain Steven Junior, allegedly instructed the club security guards and bouncers to refrain from intervening.
Shockingly, the lights were turned off, creating an atmosphere of darkness as they brutally beat and dragged Miss Chinyere Awuda outside the club. Her lifeless body was later discovered dumped into the abandoned swimming pool of the Cosmila Hotel.
Upon hearing the devastating news, the family of Miss Chinyere Awuda rushed to the Cosmila Hotel, where they tragically found her lifeless body in the abandoned swimming pool.
The incident has since been reported to the Anambra State Police, who are conducting further investigations and working towards the recovery of Miss Chinyere Awuda’s body.
Confirming the incident, the Anambra State Police Spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that the suspect is already in police custody while the case undergoes investigation.
