Former justice minister Abubakar Malami quietly marries third wife in low-key ceremony
Former justice minister Abubakar Malami has once again made headlines by marrying his third wife in a low-key ceremony.
The nuptials took place just two months after he and his in-law, former President Muhammadu Buhari, concluded their tenure in the previous administration.
The bride, Hajiya Rakiya Bashir, is a widow who has now joined Malami’s family.
The wedding ceremony reportedly took place on Sunday, July 16th.
It is worth noting that Malami had previously expanded his family by marrying one of Buhari’s daughters, Nana-Hadiza.
Nana-Hadiza was previously married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi until their union ended due to irreconcilable differences.
The marriage between Malami and Nana-Hadiza, Buhari’s third daughter from his first wife, Safinatu, took place on July 8, 2022. The ceremony was kept low-key and devoid of fanfare.
