Gov. Namadi of Jigawa announces appointment of 6 new permanent secretaries
Governor Malam Umar A Namadi has given his approval for the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries to fill vacant positions within the State Civil Service. The announcement came in a statement signed by the State’s Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Kila.
According to the statement, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are all Directors who have been promoted to higher positions. The individuals appointed are Musa Muhammad Yalleman, Muhammad Mahmoud Dawaki, Abdul Ibrahim, Isyaku Shehu, Ibrahim Adamu, and Dr. Abdullahi Umar Namadi.

Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila emphasized that the selection of the new Permanent Secretaries was based on merit, competence, and personal integrity. These appointments will take immediate effect and signify an important step in strengthening the State Civil Service.
Governor Malam Umar Namadi is set to officially swear in the new appointees on Wednesday, July 26th, 2023. The ceremony will take place at the Council Chamber, Government House in Dutse, Jigawa State, at 10:00 am. The statement directed the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to be present and seated by 9:00 am.
