Mmesoma’s father apologises to JAMB, Nigerians

Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma Ejikeme, the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidate who fabricated her result, has issued a sincere apology to JAMB and the Nigerian public. He revealed that his daughter initially deceived him with false information.
Previously, Mr. Ejikeme had accused JAMB of undermining his daughter’s success.
However, he now acknowledges that he was unaware of where his daughter had registered for the examination, even though he provided her with the necessary funds for registration.

The Committee, established by the Anambra state governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the controversial result manipulation, found evidence implicating Mmesoma as the culprit.
JAMB has urged other candidates to avoid fraudulent applications that promise to improve their scores, reiterating that such attempts will only lead to disappointment and distress
