Oshoala, first African woman to score in three consecutive women’s world cup
Nigerian international and Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala’s goal in the 72nd minute against Australia on Thursday made her the first African woman to score in three consecutive FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Oshoala’s goal cemented the all important victory for the Super Falcons beating hosts 3-2.
For the prolific striker, this year’s edition of the tournament will be her third after her debut for the country in 2015 and her second in 2019 scoring in both.
Her first appearance on national colour was in 2014 for Under 20 team scoring 30 goals since her debut.
