President Tinubu engages with Bank of America officials for beneficial partnership

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria has declared his confidence in the success of his administration, despite the challenges facing the country.

During a meeting with visiting Bank of America officials, the President requested support and partnership that could benefit Nigeria and the financial institution.

Tinubu noted that Nigeria has no reason to fail the African continent, and that the nation must take 21st century measures to address climate change, finance and innovation.

Mr. Bernard Mensah, President of International for Bank of America, expressed his excitement about the initial steps taken by the new administration, which takes Nigeria back to its rightful place on the global stage.

He assured the President that the bank was willing to assist the country in addressing its immediate and longer term challenges in the area of financing and contributing with ideas.

President Tinubu emphasized the need for fiscal and institutional reforms to aid in the sustainable growth and development of the country.

He also asked for the bank’s partnership in helping Nigerian gas compete favourably in the global market, as an alternative source of revenue.

In company with Mr. Mensah on the visit were Head of Sub-saharan Africa of the bank, Mrs. Yvonne Ike Fasinro, and Head of Investment Banking Sub- saharan Africa, Mr. Chuva Ezenwa.
