Kano Govt extends Bayero University registration deadline

Despite the initial registration closure date set for August 11, 2023, at Bayero University, the Kano State Government, led by Abba Kabir Yusuf, has intervened to extend the deadline.
In a recent interactive session between Dr. Yusuf Kofarmata, the Commissioner for Higher Education, and Professor Sagir Adamu, the Vice Chancellor of the university, the state government pleaded with the university to consider extending the registration deadline before its expiration.

The state government emphasized its willingness to intervene and provide support for the students’ registration process.
Professor Sagir, in response, confirmed that they were considering extending the registration date, taking into account the reasons presented by the state government.
He also assured that he would offer all necessary assistance to the state government and commended their dedication to improving education within the state.
Yusuf, expressing his gratitude, conveyed appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for attentively considering the state government’s plea.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the state government to revitalizing the educational sector.
As a direct outcome of this intervention, the registration deadline at Bayero University has now been extended to September 10, granting students an additional month to complete their registration process.
