Breaking: Amusan qualifies for 100mH final 

 

Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan, has qualified for the final of 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary after finishing first on Wednesday evening.

She finished first clocking 12.56s in heat 2 of the semi-final.

She finished ahead of Jamaican athlete, Achkara Nungent 12.60s and Dutch Nadine Visser 12.62s.

The world champion continues to blaze the trail despite allegations of anti-doping but she was cleared few hours to the start of the athletics meeting last week.

She will be defending her title as the current record holder for 100m hurdles in the coming days during the final of the track event.
