Suspected yahoo boy in Edo stabs girlfriend to death
A suspected yahoo boy, identified as Victor Ifakachukwu, has been apprehended in Benin City on charges of allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, whose identity remains undisclosed.
The incident occurred at No. 10, Osahon Street, Ogheghe Quarters, Off Sapele Road, Benin City, where two blood-stained knives were discovered at the scene.
Victor Ifakachukwu is currently hospitalized due to severe injuries sustained during what appears to be a violent altercation with the girl.

Police are closely monitoring his condition at an undisclosed hospital to obtain his account of the events.
This incident took place on Monday and was reported to the police by the suspect’s landlord, Mr. Emmanuel Momoh. A single blood-stained knife was recovered from the apartment.
Confirming the incident on Wednesday, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Edo State Police Command, stated that a comprehensive investigation has been initiated.
Detectives are determined to unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident involving the two individuals.
Furthermore, a security personnel involved in the evacuation of the girl’s body stated, “When we arrived the house, blood was flowing like water, I believe they started stabbing themselves when quarrel erupted between them.
“I suspect something went wrong and the girl fought back with her last power. When the boy regains consciousness, he will tell us how many of them were in the house and what actually happened”.
