Gabon citizens celebrate military for seizing power (Video)
Gabon citizens on Wednesday celebrated members of the security forces in the Plein Ciel district Libreville, for taking over power from civilian government led by President Ali Bongo.
On Tuesday night, a group of Gabonese military officers appeared on television announcing they were “putting an end to the current regime”.

The military also scrapped the official election results that had handed another term to ousted President Ali Bongo and detained the president’s son.
In a video obtained from AFP, the citizens could be seen dancing and chanting songs of praises to the Gabonese military.
The family of the current president has been in power in the country for 56 years, previously, from 1967 to 2009, the president was the father of the current head of state.
