Ex- governors Matawalle, Oyetola, 17 others make President Tinubu’s second ministerial nominees list
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has unveiled a list of 19 new ministerial nominees, put forward by President Bola Tinubu.
Amongst the nominees are former governors Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Simon Lalong of Plateau, and Ibrahim Geidam of Yobe, as well as Isiaka Oyetola of Osun.

The list also includes other individuals such as Abdullahi Gwarzo, Bosun Tijani, Maryam Shetty, Isiak Salako, Tunji Alausa, Yusuf Sununu, Ibrahim Geidam (noted to be a repeat entry), Lola John, Shuaibu Audu, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Abdullahi, Alkali Saidu, Heineken Lokpobori, Maigari Ahmadu, and Zaphaniah Jisalo.
The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, had previously submitted the supplementary ministerial list to the Senate. This is the second list with additional ministerial nominees, following the initial submission of 28 nominees by Gbajabiamila.

The Senate has already screened the first batch of 28 nominees. Gbajabiamila expressed that more names would be forwarded to the upper chamber.
