Hungry Kano man beats pap seller’s son for refusing to sell on credit

A Sharia court sitting in Kiru LGA of Kano state has summoned for hearing of a case involving Jaafar Lukman who has allegedly inflicted injuries on the son of a pap seller, Jamila Mai-Kosai, who refused to sell to him on credit.
The defendant had gone to the woman with the intention of buying bean cake and pap on credit, but the woman refused to give him because he was already owing her.

Mr. Lukman who was angry with the woman for refusing to attend to him, kicked the pap, bean cake, bean paste, and the oil she was using to fry, also injured her son.
When the charges were read out, He pleaded guilty but told the court that he was angry and hungry when he committed the offence.
The Khadi, Malam Usman Haruna Usman, ordered that he should be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to September 4th for further hearing.
