In a report by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Chile Maidoki, who based in Layin Falwaya Kurna, is among the three notorious criminals declared wanted with a bounty of N100,000 each by the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Usaini Gumel.

It was gathered that Maidoki’s submittal makes it 100th of the repentant criminals received by the state Commissioner of Police.

“Chile Maidoki told the police that he used to sleep at burial ground yards in Kano City just to evade detection by security personnel,” said SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

“He is now appealing to the Police and the good people of the State to forgive him, that he has repented and is now ready to work with the Police to promote sustainable peace and development in the state.

“However, the remaining two wanted criminals, Abba Burakita of Dorayi quarters and Hantar Daba of Kwanar Disu, with N100,000 bounty on each for clues or information leading to their arrests, are still at large.

“Prospective beneficiaries of these bounties with credible information on their whereabouts are required to contact the nearest Police Station,” the statement added.

It is believed that Chile Maidoki turning himself in would inspire the likes of his colleagues, Abba Burakita and Hantar Daba to follow suit.

While the bounty offered by the security agency in the state, it is expected that the security agency to beef up their operations in the state with the aim of getting rid criminals in hot spot areas.
