Olumuyiwa Adejobi reappointed as Force PRO
Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Olukayode Egbetokun, has approved the reappointment of Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejobi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, as the Force Public Relations Officer.
The announcement was made by SP Anjuguri Manza, an Administrative Officer in the Force Public Relations Department, through a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja.
Adejobi’s reappointment comes on the heels of his recent promotion from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police to that of ACP.
He is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, where he pursued a combined honours degree in Archaeology and Geography, alongside a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution.

Adejobi boasts a rich professional history, having served as the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun from 2008 to 2016, and subsequently as PPRO at Zone 2 Headquarters in Onikan, Lagos, between 2016 and 2020.
Additionally, he held the position of PPRO in the Lagos State Command from 2020 to 2021. His notable roles also include serving as the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer at the Force Headquarters in Abuja in 2021, and most recently, as the Force Public Relations Officer.
He is affiliated with various esteemed professional bodies and associations, such as the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the International Public Relations Association, and the Pointman Leadership Institute in the U.S.A.
Moreover, Adejobi is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police in the U.S.A. and the Institute of Corporate Administration in Nigeria, among other affiliations.
Egbetokun charged Adejobi with the responsibility of building upon his achievements, particularly in strengthening citizen-focused public relations through media engagement and specialized community interactions.
