S/Falcons star hints on retirement, wants to start family 

 

Nigeria international and CSKA forward, Francisca Ordega of the Super Falcons, has given a hint on when she will hang her boots and start a family of her own.

Ordega who made her first appearance for the national under 17 team – the Flamingos in 2010 revealed that she could start having babies in the next four years.

Recall, Ordega, 29, was part of the Super Falcons squad that crashed out of the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the Round of 16 where they lost to the Lionesses of England on penalties.

“Four years? I think I will be pregnant,” she told EaglesTracker.

“I think I will have my babies then. Four years, I might have babies. I love babies. I might really.

“I might have babies. I don’t want to play football forever. I’m a woman. I’m beautiful. I don’t wanna play football forever. I want to start a family. I’m not saying in the next four years but if una no see me make una know say I don…[smiles].

“It can happen in the next one or three months. It doesn’t matter. It is what you want that God will give to you.”

Ordega has scored seven goals for the Super Falcons in 26 appearances and 27 in 12 goals for club, CSKA Moscow.
