Senate greenlights 45 ministers, holds back El-Rufai, Danladi, Okotete
In a session that spanned eight days, the Senate took strides in the confirmation process of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees.
Out of the 48 individuals nominated, a total of 45 received the Senate’s approval.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, announced this outcome, also shedding light on the status of the remaining three nominees – Nasir El-Rufai from Kaduna, Abubakar Sani Danladi from Taraba, and Stella Okotete from Delta.
According to Akpabio, their confirmation awaits security clearance.
