Super Falcons 10th best team after 2023 FWWC
The Super Falcons of Nigeria after the conclusion of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup were ranked 10th best team in the world.

The Falcons made history qualifying for the Round of 16 after beating Australia 3-2, drew 0-0 with Canada in their opening group game and drew with the Republic of Ireland 1-1 to finish second.
The team were unlucky in the Round of 16 losing 4-2 on penalties to the Three Lionesses of England who were yesterday defeated by Spain with a lone goal.
In a statement released by the world football governing body, FIFA, the ninth time African champions ranked ahead heavyweights like Germany and Brazil.
Spain defeated England 1-0 in the final to win the Women’s World Cup for the first time.
The top ten ranking is led by winners Spain, followed by England, Sweden, Australia, Japan, France, Netherlands, Colombia, USA, and Nigeria.
