Ahmadu Bello University promotes 54 academic staff members

In a recent announcement from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, a total of 54 academic staff members have received well-deserved promotions.
This announcement came during the 526th (Regular) Meeting of the University’s Senate, which took place on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.

Out of these promotions, 25 outstanding individuals have been elevated to the prestigious rank of Professor, while 29 have been recognized and promoted to the rank of Reader. These promotions were granted based on positive evaluations received from external assessors.
The University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted staff members.
He also encouraged them to direct their efforts towards further enhancing the University’s reputation in the areas of teaching, research, and community service.
This noteworthy development underscores Ahmadu Bello University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the continuous growth and recognition of its dedicated faculty members.
