Bauchi-Gombe Road cuts off anew, leaving commuters stranded
Once again, the Bauchi-Gombe Road has been cut off, leaving motorists, commuters, and traders stranded.
This unfortunate situation has occurred just weeks after heavy rainfall wreaked havoc on Kalajanga village in the Kirfi Local Government Area of Bauchi Stat on August 19, initially resulting in the road’s closure.

Efforts were made to reopen the road through palliative measures, providing temporary relief for travelers. However, on Monday, the repaired section collapsed once more.
This vital road connects Bauchi with four Northeastern states: Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba, and Borno, and extends further into the North Central states of Plateau and Nasarawa.
