Gombe varsity student throws newborn baby from three-story building
Commotion erupted yesterday morning at Gombe State University (GSU) when an unidentified female student threw her newborn baby from a three-story building.
Sources indicate that she had given birth to the baby boy out of wedlock but chose to end his life by tossing him from the school hostel.

The hostel in question is a three-story building. Tragically, the child suffered fatal injuries upon impact, causing turmoil within the institution.
Mohammed Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer of the university, confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP, revealing that the case had been reported to the police.
Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the police spokesman for the state, stated that they had not officially received the report but assured that they would communicate further details once received.
