Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has initiated and inaugurated new positions for social media influencers within the state government. The governor has released a list of 44 vibrant youths who played vital roles during his 2023 election campaign.

He disclosed that these appointments were based on the individual performance and contributions of the nominees. Each appointee will be attached to various ministries and agencies of the state, responsible for promoting and advocating for government projects.

He urged the nominees to remain vigilant and law-abiding, assuring them of his support by providing all necessary equipment. Furthermore, he expressed his desire for them to prioritize anti-drug campaigns in their advocacy efforts.

Baba Halilu Dantiye, the Commissioner of Information, also addressed the beneficiaries, emphasizing the importance of broadcasting accurate and evidence-backed information. He assured them that the Ministry of Information would work closely with them to ensure the success of their roles.
