Internet Fraud Crackdown: EFCC arrests 41 in Delta State sting operation
In a significant operation conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday, 41 suspected internet fraudsters were apprehended in Warri, Delta State.
The operation was carried out by EFCC officers from the Benin Zonal Command, acting on actionable intelligence regarding illicit activities in the area.
During the operation, law enforcement authorities seized valuable assets from the suspects, including eight high-end vehicles: two Toyota Venza, one Range Rover, one Lexus EX 350, two Lexus RX350, one Toyota Camry, one Mercedes Benz C300, and a Mercedes Benz GLK. Additionally, mobile phones and laptops were confiscated as potential evidence.

The suspects in custody have reportedly cooperated with investigators and provided useful statements. Upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigations, they will be formally charged in court.
The individuals arrested in connection with this operation included Jackson Shebenor, Good Gospower, Akiefa Desmond, Johnson Ogheneuwegba, Okonta Williams, Ochuko Godfrey, Marvelous Oghogho Ekpuke, Ofoluwa Sheriff, Eyengho Richard, Daniel Avwerosuo Iniovorhire, Favour Ighoatudu, Stanley David, Gospower Jeremiah, Hurock Miracle, Onaiwu Gideon, Apare Tamarakuru, Ogribi George and Napoleon Efe Miracle.
Others were Jephthah Godbless, Isiorho Desmond and Ochuko Prosper, Akpevwe Edogbegi, Felis Emmanuel, John Benjamin, Chukwuyenum Kenneth, Ejaita Victory, Felix Wada, Ufuoma Ododolor, Blessing Gbekena, Edo Othuke and Irikete Prosper.
Also included on the list of the arrested suspects were: Joshua Ngerem, Efejayobor Ochuko, Eke Kelechi Destiny, Idise Raymond Chuks, Enitomi Patrick, Efetobore Prosper Eghegha, Toise Raymond Chuks and Ogheneome Udovi.
