Kwara businessman found dead inside his hotel

The Managing Director of a well-known hotel in Ilorin, Kwara State has been discovered dead in one of the hotel rooms.
According to a police spokesman in Kwara, CSP Okasanmi Ajayi, the incident was reported as a suspected homicide by a supervisor at the hotel on Thursday, prompting the swift dispatch of a team of detectives to the scene.
He said upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of the deceased lying motionless on the hotel room bed.
Notably, there were no apparent signs of physical violence on the body, leaving the police determined to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of death.
To ascertain the cause of death, the body of the hotel boss was promptly transferred to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals confirmed his unfortunate demise.

Subsequently, the body was then conveyed to a morgue, awaiting further examination through an autopsy.
As the investigation unfolded, Police Spokesman Ajayi assured the public that any relevant update and information related to the case would be shared in due course.
However, the circumstances surrounding the Managing Director’s death remain mysterious at this point, compounding the urgency of the police investigation.
“Doctors at a hospital confirmed the hotel boss dead and the body was deposited in a morgue pending autopsy.
“Details of the investigation will be made public as soon as possible,’’ Ajayi assured.
