In the wake of a devastating rainstorm that caused destruction to the staff quarters and Nasarawa General Hospital, the Nasarawa State Government has pledged to give the hospital a much-needed facelift.

Governor Abdullahi Sule conveyed this commitment during his visit to Nasarawa, Nasarawa LGA, where he assessed the extent of the damages. Representing the governor, Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe emphasized the government’s dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the people of the state and beyond. He expressed gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident.

During his visit, the governor inspected the affected staff quarters and instructed the state ministry of works to promptly assess the damages and provide a report for immediate government attention.

Accompanied by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Gaza Gwana, and the Chief Medical Director of Nasarawa State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Egba Edego, among other officials, the Deputy Governor assured the management and staff of the government’s support in restoring the hospital.

The windstorm that struck Nasarawa town in Nasarawa LGA on August 31st left residents devastated, and the government’s commitment to revitalizing Nasarawa General Hospital brings hope for a swift recovery.
