Police detain 43-year-old teacher for having oral sex with 13-year-old pupil

A shocking incident has unfolded in Ofada Town, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, as a 43-year-old teacher from Heritage Group of Schools, Joshua Olufemi, has been accused of defiling a 13-year-old male pupil. It is alleged that Olufemi committed this heinous act multiple times, specifically through the pupil’s anus, in his room.

According to a reliable source who wished to remain anonymous, the mother of the victim, identified as Stella, revealed that her son disclosed the unlawful actions during lesson hours on the suspect’s bed. The suspect was employed as a Mathematics teacher for the junior secondary school and Further Mathematics teacher for the senior secondary school at the Heritage Group of Schools in the town.

Upon learning of the teacher’s abhorrent behavior, the distressed mother immediately reported the matter to the Owode Egba Divisional Police Station. Subsequently, the police launched an investigation into the case and promptly apprehended and detained Olufemi.

Confirming the incident on Sunday, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Odutola Omolola, acknowledged the arrest of the suspect and stated that the investigation is ongoing to unravel further details regarding the teacher’s conduct.
