President Tinubu sacks Bank of Industry MD, Olukayode Pitan
President Bola Tinubu has reportedly removed Olukayode Pitan from his position as Managing Director of the Bank of Industry.
This alleged development was disclosed by Jackson Ude, a Global Peace Ambassador and Strategic Communication expert, who shared the news on his official Twitter account:
“BOLA TINUBU SACKS BANK OF INDUSTRY MD Bola Tinubu has dismissed the Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, Mr. Olukayode Pitan, instructing him to submit his handover note immediately. The reason for his removal is not immediately clear.”

Olukayode Pitan currently holds the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Bank of Industry Ltd, which is Nigeria’s oldest and largest development finance institution.
Throughout his extensive 30-year career, he has garnered significant experience in various financial services sectors, including banking and capital markets.
However, as of the time of this report, there has been no official confirmation from either the Federal Government or the Bank of Industry.
