She urged celebrities from across the country to join the protest and called upon Governor Sanwo-Olu to ensure a thorough investigation into Mohbad’s death.

In her words: “Governor Sanwo-Olu, I implore you to use your esteemed office. We need you to ensure that comprehensive investigations are carried out. We don’t want superficial investigations. Mohbad was everyone’s child. We failed to heed his cries when he was alive, and we cannot afford to fail him in death. He paid the ultimate price, and justice must prevail in this case.”

The party, represented by its South-West Zonal Secretary, Mr. Femi Olaniyi, expressed condolences to the family and associates of the late singer.
