Revamping The Capital: Wike to improve 135 roads in Abuja
On September 11, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Nyesom Wike, will inaugurate the resurfacing and rehabilitation of 135 roads in a significant effort to enhance road infrastructure in the FCT.
This announcement comes from Mr. Anthony Ogunleye, the Director of Press in the Office of the Minister, who shared the news in a statement released in Abuja on Saturday.
“These projects, set to be executed within the Garki, Wuse, Gwarimpa, and Maitama Districts, will also encompass remedial work on major bridges.

“The inauguration ceremony, marking the first major infrastructural development initiative by the minister, will take place along Ladoke Akintola Boulevard in Garki II, Abuja.
“Mr. Wike is resolute in his commitment to fast-track the infrastructural development of the nation’s capital,” he affirmed.”
