SGF Akume seeks medical attention in Germany
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, who was appointed by President Bola Tinubu, has fallen ill and has been urgently flown abroad for medical treatment.
According to Sahara Reporters, Akume, a former governor of Benue State, has been in Germany for the past five days seeking medical care.
According to one of the top sources, “Tinubu’s SGF is presently ill and is out of the country. He has been flown to Germany for urgent medical care. He’s been there for five days now.”
This revelation comes after Akume has not been carrying out official assignments recently and has been represented by officials in his absence.
During a recent event, the graduation of participants of the National Defence College (NDC) Course 31, Akume was represented by Alhaji Aliyu Shinkafi, the Permanent Secretary, Special Services, OSGF.
