Tight security as Kaduna Governorship Election Tribunal delivers judgment via Zoom
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kaduna State is to deliver its judgment via Zoom today.
The courtroom has been set up to allow the judgment proceedings to be transmitted via Zoom.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Isah Mohammed Ashiru, brought the petition before the tribunal against the election of Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as Governor.

There is tight security at the premises of Kaduna State High Court, Kawo Kaduna, where the tribunal sits, and the decision of the tribunal will uphold the election of Uba Sani as Governor, or not.
A similar setting happened last Wednesday in Kano, where the governorship election petition tribunal sacked Abba Yusuf, candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), as governor of the state.
The tribunal, in its judgment delivered via Zoom, affirmed Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the duly elected Governor of Kano.
