Teenage girl takes own life following leakage of intimate photos with married man
In a heart-wrenching incident, a 17-year-old Form 3 student from Lord Malvern High School in Zimbabwe has reportedly committed suicide.
The young girl, identified as Vanessa Chirimhanzi, allegedly took her own life after explicit photos of her with a married man were leaked.
The troubling situation unfolded when a classmate, known only as Loveness, shared Vanessa’s nude pictures with the entire class through a WhatsApp group. This led to a confrontation between Vanessa and Loveness, resulting in the matter being taken to the school headmaster.

Although both students were punished, Vanessa continued to face daily verbal abuse at school, which took a toll on her mental health. Tragically, she consumed poison and was rushed to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital, where she eventually passed away.
Confirming the devastating news, Vanessa’s father, Cosmas Mutanhu, expressed his grief and stated that the police are now investigating the case.
“Yes, my daughter died after taking poison,” said Mutanhu.
“We cannot comment further since the case is now being handled by the police,” he said.
Sources told H-Metro that Vanessa went to school with extra clothes on the day she was taken out by her married lover.
“Vanessa was picked up on a Friday by her married lover.
“Loveness came across the nude pictures when Vanessa left her with her mobile phone, and she leaked them.
“Vanessa was shocked to be shown the pictures circulating in the class group and confronted Loveness since she was the only one who accessed her phone.
“The two fought and were ordered to spend the day digging and watering a garden at the school as part of their punishment,” said the source.
