Lagos police declare man wanted for confessing to killing girlfriend on social media
The Lagos State Police Command is currently searching for a 26-year-old man named Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo in connection with the alleged murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Nnanyereugo is believed to have committed the crime on July 13, 2023, at his home in Oral Estate, Ajah, Lagos.

“After exhausting all available options to apprehend him, he is now declared wanted,” stated SP Hundeyin.
Nnanyereugo, who hails from Abia State, is approximately 5’9 ft tall with a dark complexion. He is fluent in English, Igbo, and pidgin English.
“If anyone has any information or encounters Nnanyereugo, they are urged to contact the nearest police station or call 08036885727”.
