Lagos police confirm extradition process for ‘KillaBoi’

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the initiation of the extradition process for Benjamin Nnanyereugo, commonly referred to as ‘KillaBoi’ who was apprehended by Sierra Leonean authorities following allegations of his involvement in the murder of his late girlfriend, Augusta Osedion.

Hundeyin disclosed this information during an exclusive telephone interview with Punch on Saturday.

He stated, “We have initiated the extradition process to bring KillaBoi into custody in Nigeria.”

On Friday, the suspect was captured at a nightclub in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, after adopting the alias Kanu Princeton Samuel and reportedly spending over $25,000 to obtain a Sierra Leonean passport.

In the interim, the deceased’s family had posted his photograph on social media, prompting a Sierra Leonean citizen to identify him.

This individual contacted the renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana SAN, who subsequently informed the Lagos Police Command, which had previously declared Nnanyereugo as a wanted individual.
