Court of Appeal confirms Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan as winner of Kogi central senatorial election
The Court of Appeal in Abuja Division has upheld Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan as the duly elected candidate for the Kogi Central Senatorial Election, which took place in February.
Abubakar Ohere’s appeal, challenging the election results, was dismissed by the court for lacking merit.

In September, the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal in Lokoja had invalidated the victory of Abubakar Ohere, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, in the Kogi Central Senatorial Election.
The court ruled in favor of Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declaring her the rightful winner of the election held earlier in the year.
